Italian offices release records of a deceased ancestor to a descendant, or to someone the descendant authorizes. This is the authorization we attach to your request:

I, [your name], a descendant (relationship) of [your ancestor], authorize GN International Distribution Ltd (Pratiq) and its staff to request on my behalf, from the civil registry offices, town registries, State Archives and parishes concerned, full copies, extracts and certificates relating to [your ancestor] and their family members, registered in Barbaresco or elsewhere in Italy, and to collect and receive them for me, for citizenship, family history and inheritance purposes.

We send the Italian version of this text, with your signature, to each office.
